I Ran A Marathon!
I started training because I was out of breath whilst resting on the couch. I felt like the green, fat, hairy farmer’s wife' my big sister always told me I’d become. I had poor core strength and a crap running style.
I have lost over 12kg and it is not coming back, ever and I have the energy to be cheeky (I think I am getting a bit too cheeky for my own good to be honest) and in my heart I am also Kenyan (I have a big heart, which is way better than having a big arse, which is what I used to have!).
I ran a marathon! That's a 42.2 kilometre run. If you believe you can, you can. If you tell me I can’t, I will. Frankly without Bootcamp and that evil TRX thing, the whole core strength would be on its way out the window. I like Bruce Sullivan’s take on this: “1 life”.
