The Color Run Wollongong
Welcome to the happiest 5km on the planet AND the happiest team in the happiest 5km on the planet. the Color Run Wollongong has arrived and this will Beachside Personal Trainers’ first event! We’d love to have you on the team and are looking forward to getting super colourful together!
The Color Run Wollongong is crazy and fun 5km run/jog/walk. You don’t have to be able to run fast, or even run to join in because this event is all about having fun and getting outdoors and active. There’s no timing, no places and no room for sad faces!the only thing you’ll need to join out team is an awesome attitude and be up for the funnest, craziest fun run of your life!
It’s on Sunday the 4th may at Stuart Park Wollongong and kicks off at 8am. By registering in our team you save yourself $5 from the entry fee bringing it down to $52.50 (and kids under 5 are free and don’t need to register). We will pick our packs up before the event and they will include a t-shirt (I think we may groovy them up a little before the day so we can wear them on the day as a team), a bag of colour, race number, sweat band and tattoo.
During the race we all get ‘coloured’ like little pieces of fairy bread with legs. You get a bag of colour to pretty up your friends outfits and you each kilometer we will pass colour stations in case we’re just not bright enough!
Just like getting dirty, the colour does come out after a few washes, but why would you want to? After the race, if you spray your shirt in vinegar and iron and you have a precious memento of the day. Bring a towel or a clean set of clothes to get home in and you’ll be fine.
