It’s Not Just How Hard You Train, It’s How Smart You Train
I was training with friends for a while but found I was not getting the results I wanted. Once I started training with Kieran I realised it was because I wasn’t training the right way for my goals and body. I was slogging it out in the gym day after day and getting no-where. I heard Kieran had helped people pass the police, ambo’s, firies and defence force fitness tests so I thought he might be able to help me.
In a few short sessions Kieran showed me what I was doing wrong and taught me techniques to excel my results into a whole new level. Before Personal Training with Kieran I was getting unmotivated, quitting half way through a session or sometimes not even starting! Kieran’s taught me it’s not just how hard you train but how smart you train.

Kieran Always Made Me Feel Welcome
Before I got a personal trainer I couldn’t do too much physical activity without feeling extremely tired and puffed out. I started because I was fat and unhealthy and wanted to improve my fitness, lose weight and build muscle.
Now I feel better about myself, I have more confidence, I can lift more than I ever thought I could, I can work out for longer and harder and I don’t feel too bad afterwards. Kieran can encourage and push me safely to my limits and has always made me feel welcome and comfortable. He always had great ideas and could answer all my questions.

My Life Has Been Turned Around
Only a few weeks ago my life was terrible. I have three beautiful kids and a lovely wife but never got to spend anytime with them as I was so tired after work. I’d get home late, veg out in front of the tv and then go to bed where I could never get to sleep. I was unfit, obese and verging on depression.
I wanted to do something about it and my wife had heard of a great trainer in our area that can come to our house. Now I had no excuses. I was nervous about what he’d think of me and what he’d do to me when we started training!
Kieran was nothing but understanding and motivating. After only a few sessions I could already see the differences. Now after only a few weeks I’ve already lost over 20 kilos, I can sleep soundly, I have more energy and I’m more productive at work which means I can get home earlier and play with the kids. Kieran even gets them involved in our training.
My life has been turned around and I can’t wait to see where I can go from here!

I Enjoyed The Workouts Like I Never Have Before
I wasn’t happy with my body and my lack of fitness and I wanted to join the fire brigade and needed a program that would get me ready for the gruelling tasks they set in the fitness test. I wouldn’t get through in my current condition as I was even unfit for my age.
Kieran was excited for me when I asked if he could train me to pass the test. His program was fantastic; straight forward and simple to follow, pushed me to where I thought was my limit and then some. I actually enjoyed the workout like I never have before and Kieran could always answer any questions I had. I blitzed the 16 minute fitness test in fewer than 12! I feel better, more confident, happier and on top of it all, now I’m married and have a baby! Life couldn’t be better.

Come To Bootcamp With Me!
A long string of injuries from high school meant that I couldn’t do the sport and exercise that I was constantly doing before I got injured, so I put on a crap load of weight, which was a bit of a downer for me. And exercise was always a huge part of my life, so not being able to do that whilst watching the weight pile on made me pretty down on myself. My self esteem was shot, I was constantly tired even though I wasn’t doing anything, I was extremely frustrated and angry all the time So I thought maybe doing something like Bootcamp with someone who could maybe make certain adjustments to my injuries may be a good way to get back into things.
I’ve lost those extra kilos, and I know I’m far more fit than I was before starting, I feel better that I’m getting out and doing something and I’m more consistent with exercise. I always knew I could push myself from doing cross country for eleven years, but I surprised myself a lot during Bootcamp with what I could achieve when I focused on the task at hand.
I feel better, I’m happier with where I am now than where I was before that’s for sure. Come to Bootcamp with me! You can be my exercise buddy/ass kicker when I have that fifth slice of cake when I’m studying! Even if you have an injury that stops you or a hectic lifestyle there are ways around it. You can find certain things or even a few minutes in the day to do something because even if you find it hard to get up and do it, you’ll feel so much better when you do.
I enjoy the variety and the different types of training. I’ve never really done any ‘strength’ training the way Kieran does, like squats and pushups and pullups. My idea of strength training before that was some person with huge guns pumping massive weights in a gym.
You won’t make that change in yourself if you don’t respect yourself. If you don’t feel you’re worthy enough to be better than you are now then nothing you do will ever make that happen. You need to believe that you deserve to become what you want to be and achieve what you want to achieve.
