There Is Nothing Standing Between Me and My Goals
I made the decision to start Personal Training because I wasn’t happy with myself, how I looked, how my clothes wouldn’t fit and how tired and exhausted I always felt. I really wasn’t happy at all. I started at a gym but got bored of doing the same routine, not knowing if what I was doing was right or wrong and I wasn’t seeing any results. A friend of mine who was getting great results recommended Personal Training. I didn’t want to be confined to a gym, so my friend recommended Kieran who trains out in the fresh air. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.
Before training I always felt lethargic and couldn’t be bothered to get up and do anything. I would always feel down which led to comfort eating and then I’d just feel more lethargic. It was a deadly spiral of self indulgence. I was apprehensive not knowing if I could keep up with the exercises. But once I met Kieran and had a chat about goals and expectations I felt much better. After every session I felt better about myself.
It became obvious to me that sitting around at home feeling sorry for myself wasn’t good enough. I have now regained control over my life and can change things if I had the strength and courage to overcome them. I’m fitter, stronger, have more energy and am now happy with myself, have more confidence, fit into nicer clothes and I was nicer to be around because I wasn’t so grumpy all the time!
I can control how I feel and how I look. I know that things don’t have to always stay the same. I know that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. I’ve learnt that exercise makes me feel better, that I can push myself beyond any level I ever thought possible and that there is nothing standing between me and my goals. If you’re feeling down in the dumps, are unhappy with how you look and how you feel and you actually want to change that, get outside and get a Personal Trainer. I needed that person who knows what they are doing to push me to do my best. That person is Kieran.
